2024 -2025 Building Trades Teacher – Eldon Career Center

Eldon Career Center is seeking applicants for a full-time secondary building trades instructor. Candidates must have professional experience in the construction industry, a passion for teaching high school students and a dedication toward professional growth. The building trades program completes a residential home each school year. Duties include providing instruction utilizing state and industry approved curriculum, supervising and ensuring safe and effective practices with students, promoting positive work and post-secondary placement upon graduation as well as participation in the student organization SkillsUSA. Additionally, obtaining a Class B school bus with passengers and air brakes endorsement is required. Interested candidates should submit a completed application file that includes an application, resume, and two letters of reference. Attaining DESE certification in Skilled Technical Sciences is required.
