  • High School Social Studies Position

  • Elementary Recovery Room Instructor

    The Eldon R-I School District is accepting applications for a South Elementary Recovery Room Instructor for the 2018-2019 school year. The job of a Recovery Room Instructor is to provide a safe place for students to go when they need to be removed from the classroom.  The recovery room instructor provides behavior interventions and discusses solutions to prevent future infractions with students and parents. They focus on student responsibility and accountability when it comes to their actions and choices, then help individualize each student’s intervention so they can be successful in the future. The instructor also provides the administration and staff with technology support and troubleshooting with iReady, Clever and Reading Counts. These programs require online classroom setup and the printing of class rosters and QR codes for all students. This position will also read and analyze the data quarterly. This position requires other administrative duties on a daily basis as directed by the building principals. Applicants must hold an active, appropriate Missouri Certification.   • PAVE AmeriCorps is looking for Members for the 2018-19 School Year

    Become a PAVE AmeriCorps Academic Coach!
    Teach what you love, share what you know, and open eyes, minds, and hearts as an AmeriCorps Academic Coach! Be a positive adult role model, develop relationships, and form meaningful connections with students while helping them with reading, English, math, social studies, or science. Utilize different teaching strategies to reach struggling students and help them develop the skills and enthusiasm to be a lifelong learner.  Some Coaches will also support wellness activities designed to get kids active and moving.

    Full-Time positions are available in kindergarten through twelfth grade.

    AmeriCorps Benefits:

    • Living Allowance of approximately $1,100 per month
    • Education Award of $5,920 after successful completion of term (Members 55+ can transfer the award to an eligible child or grandchild)

    • Successfully pass Fingerprint Background Check (provided at program expense).
    • Applicants must be able to provide a full-time, one year commitment.

  • Special Education Teaching Position (K-12)

    The Eldon School District is accepting applications for a Special Education teaching position opening for the 2018-2019 school year. This individual will be responsible for overseeing cross-categorical special education students, maintaining IEPs, and implementing IEP goals. Special education experience is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate. Additionally, applicants holding both mild to moderate cross-categorical certification and elementary/secondary education certification will receive high consideration.

    The Eldon R-1 School District is seeking applications for a full-time or part-time speech/language pathologist for the 2016-2017 school year. Candidates must have a Master’s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology, CCC/SLP or CFY eligible. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
