Board of Education Member
The Board of Education is required by law to fill vacancies on the Board created when a Board member leaves office prior to the end of an elected term. The Board is responsible for appointing an eligible person to fill the vacancy until the next April election, at which time a candidate will be elected to fill the remainder of the term, if any, or the new term. This application will serve as written notice that you are eligible and wish to be considered for the current Board vacancy. If selected, your service will begin immediately after you are sworn in and will continue until the person elected in the April, 2023, election is sworn in. After School Food Service Position
The Eldon R-I School District is accepting applications for an After School Food Service position. This position will work from 3:30 pm-6:15 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays. High School Assistant Boys Basketball Coach

PAVE AmeriCorps – Academic Coach
PAVE AmeriCorps is looking for Members for the 2022-2023 school year.Positions available at Eldon South Elementary (K-2), Eldon Upper Elementary (3-5), Eldon Middle School (6-8), and Eldon High School (9-12) in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies classes.Our Academic Coaches are placed in Eldon’s Kindergarten through twelfth grade classrooms to provide individualized interventions to at-risk students via one-on-one, small group, and whole classroom settings. We work diligently to recruit a staff from diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, and levels of education to increase our opportunity to provide every student with the “just right” person to reach them where they are and empower them to succeed personally and academically. We craft schedules that allow members to connect with students over shared skills and interests. These connections and the consistent individualized support members provide optimize student trust and vulnerability with the members in turn optimizing their opportunity to build their reading and math proficiency.
- Living Allowance of $1,375 per month
- Education Award of $6,495 after successful completion of term (Members 55+ can transfer the award to an eligible child or grandchild)

All Members receive comprehensive training. Other training opportunities and service projects are available throughout the year to help Members function effectively as a team, connect to the community, and develop both personal and professional skills.Requirements:

Afterschool Program Staff
The Eldon Learning Enriched Afterschool Program (LEAP) is accepting applications for program staff for the afterschool program. LEAP staff provides educational and enrichment activities for students. Positions are available at South Elementary (Pk-3rd Grade) LEAP operates at the school sites on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons from 3pm to 6pm. Occasional Wednesday hours may be required for staff meetings. Pay ranges from $14 to $20 per hour based on experience. Applicants should have prior experience working with youth.
