Building Trades

Building tradesBuilding Trades is a two-year program designed to develop students’ skills in residential and commercial construction. The objective is to acquaint students to the various careers in the construction trades industry. Class work consists of theory and extensive hands-on experience.

Students will receive instruction in first-aid, safety, and communication skills. Special fields such as estimating, blue print reading, and problem solving will also be covered. The class is responsible for the construction of a residential house.
