Construction and Heavy Equipment
This two-year program is designed to develop students’ skills in residential and commercial construction. The objective is to acquaint students with the various careers in the construction trades industry as students construct a residential home from start to finish. Students learn carpentry, masonry, electrical wiring, plumbing, and equipment operation as well as proper tool usage and material safety education. Students are given the opportunity to earn their 10-hour OSHA Construction Industry Safety Training. Special fields such as estimating, blueprint reading, and problem solving will also be covered.
